There is always confusion for masala peanuts and peanuts 65.
Masala peanuts are coated with fried spices.
Peanuts 65 ‘s are coated with flour .
My version is made by coating raw groundnuts with only one type of flour.
Easy to prepare, easy to store , crispy,crunchy and delicious in taste.
With few ingredients quick evening snacks ready to eat.
2 Cups of Dry Raw peanuts with skin
½ Cup Besan
1 tbsp red chilly powder
½ tsp Termeric powder
2 pinch Hing
Few curry leaves
Oil for deep frying
In a bowl add Besan,red chilly powder, termeric powder,hing and salt mix nicely on dry form then add 2 to 3 tbsp of water make a thick and tight paste . Now add peanuts mix it again ,it should be coated each nut perfectly.
Heat oil in kadhai fry curry leaves , remove in a kitchen towel. And keep aside.
Drop coated peanuts on hot oil by seperate with fingers on low flame. Stir with dry spatula to turn several times, through this it will cook all sides equally.
Remove in a kitchen towel
Collect in a bowl add fried curry leaves and serve.
