Lemon was used as colour name in English 1598. The colour signifies happiness and joy as it’s shiny bright colour. It’s also used to mention a silly person as Lemon is pale yellow colour. The term is so powerful that it changed the world of advertising in 1960. When Volkswagen ran the one-word headline ad called ‘Lemon’, it changed entire game the industry.
